While writing a MUN position paper, you need to show the chairs that you have successfully researched various facts and statements and transformed facts into a strong country-specific case. Your position paper should create a first impression with the other delegates to present yourself in the manner you want to be viewed.

Here you have to demonstrate your country's unique understanding of the issue being discussed. You also have to showcase your country's previous relationship with the topic discussed. You can also include examples of various initiatives performed by your country.

Sort your thoughts and research

Organize your thoughts and present them clearly on your position paper. Include many facts, an example in the MUN position paper that is available in various delegate speeches. In this section, you have to keep in mind that you're not only sharing your country's position but also introducing the reader to the issue at hand from your perspective. Establish your position, and you can always start with a brief history of the situation discussed and how you will be proceeding in the proposal paper.

Illustrate the various challenges to the global community because of the issue, and keep in mind that your goal is to meet the challenge by the end of the paper. Talk about the issue like it does not only pertain to your country but also other countries to support your policy.

It is important to know that you will not get support for your clauses if other countries do not see the topic the way you do. Think about a collaborative approach where you can ask others to implement the solution.
